Sarah Lockett is a TV news anchor and reporter with nearly 20 years` experience working in the UK, Europe and the US. She is a regular on Sky News and Channel Four News, and has presented on BBC News 24 as well as working for ITN and Channel 5 News, LWT News, BBC Newsroom South East (now BBC London) and many more.

During her career Sarah Lockett has interviewed everyone from Prince Philip to Barry Manilow, Gordon Brown to Ivana Trump. Sarah has covered a wide range of news stories from the death of Princess Diana to politics, finance and showbiz. Sarah specialised in business news at Reuters Business TV (1995-6), interviewing many financial heavyweights such as Virgin`s Richard Branson and Easyjet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou. Sarah was the face of Meridian TV in the south east from 1998-2000, as anchor of the local evening news programme, Meridian Tonight in Kent, East Sussex and South Essex.

Sarah Lockett puts her extensive experience, and BBC training, to good use by working as a presenter for conference TV, and presenting, reporting and directing films to be shown at conferences (in the US, Europe and the UK). Sarah has mastered many diverse subjects: automotive engineering with 27,000 delegates in Detroit, emergency communication in Denver, and local politics in various UK cities with the Local Government Association . She has made corporate videos for firefighters, podiatrists, auditors, NHS agencies and she is also a regular presenter on the Local Government Channel.

Sarah Lockett came to print as a supplement to her broadcasting work. She wrote a daily cookery column for The Scotsman for 18 months (2000-2001) - which adds up to a LOT of recipes! In her print work, she specialises in health, food, diet, travel, features and humour, and is a member of the Guild of Food Writers. She has contributed to several national magazines and newspapers including London Evening Standard, The Sunday Post, Shape magazine, Healthy magazine (the UK`s best-selling health magazine). Sarah published her first book The Dish in Februray 2009.
