Nominated for Sony Comedy Award 2002 for I`m Sorry I Haven`t A Clue. Jeremy Hardy is one of the UK`s foremost and respected stand-up comedians. His live work has included Just 4 Laughs, (Montreal Comedy Festival), the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he won the prestigious Perrier Award and numerous sell out tours of the UK and Ireland.
When he’s not touring Jeremy Hardy is now an essential member of Radio 4’s NEWS QUIZ team as well as regularly appearing on I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, Hamish And Dougall, Just A Minute, Linda Smith’s History Of Time Wasting and I’m The Queen Of Sheeba. He also writes and performs his own series, again for Radio 4, the hugely successful Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation. He recent television credits include: Q.I. (BBC 2), DVD Collection (BBC3), Human Rights, Human Wrongs (BBC2) and BBC 2’s satirical look at the London Mayoral election All The Fun Of The Mayor. Ever keen to diversify, Jeremy appeared in Hotel a feature film directed by Mike Figgis opposite Burt Reynold, David Schwimmer and Rhys Ifans. Further acting credits include; Black Adder and Sorry.
Jeremy Hardy has been a regular columnist for London’s prestigious ES Magazine and The Guardian Newspaper. He has written two books, Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation (Methuen) and When Did You Last See Your Father (Methuen).
In 2002, he travelled to the West Bank to make a film documentary about the International Solidarity Movement. The acclaimed Jeremy Hardy V The Israeli Army has been on general release throughout the UK, and is now being screened all over the world.
